This statue sits around the corner from my apartment. It has obviously seen better days. Back in July, I was walking by when I noticed that a somewhat thoughtful kid from the neighborhood had apparently noticed how beat up the statue was and donated some of their Sesame Street band-aids. I thought that was a pretty nice gesture. Kid'll probably grow up to be a doctor some day.
