Been Caught Stealing

Eye in the Sky

« Previous   Main  Next »

September 3rd, 2007. 10th & Pine Streets. Philadelphia, PA.

This photo was juried into the 16th Annual Phillips Mill Photographic Exhibition in New Hope, PA running throughout June 2008. I am very honored to have been selected.

This is the security/surveillance dome at my local beer store, The Foodery. It's unbelievable how many different types of beer this place manages to offer in such a small space. They literally have hundreds of different imports and microbrews in this small corner store, and they allow you to put together your own mixed 6 packs so you can try out as many beers as you want. Highly recommended to beer connoisseurs (snobs) when visiting the area.

Back in September I happened to look up and notice their security system so I took this photo. This dome is huge and right in the middle of the ceiling so you can basically see the entire store in it. The photo actually came out better than I expected. It almost looks like it was shot from the ceiling with a fisheye lens.
